Polar Express....Year Deuce!

We had our second annual Polar Express tonight, and it turned out great! We had more people with us this year which made it even more fun. It's always fun to meet new friends during this exciting event. Dressed in pajamas and with big smiles on their faces, the children boarded the Polar Express! After getting their golden tickets and having the conductor punch them, the kids sang Christmas Carols as we made our way to the North Pole (aka Woods Cross). When we got there, to our surprise, we found out the Santa Claus had been stranded by Rudolph and the gang! After passing out bells to all who believed, Santa climbed on board as we headed back to Ogden. Santa was asked several questions by some very interested little children, but my favorite was,"Santa, where is your mouth?" Santa chuckled and showed them that he had to move the hair on his beard to get anything in his mouth. He proceeded to tell us that Santa was going to get a buzz haircut as soon as the Holidays were over. We all enjoyed cookies and the most wonderful homemade hot chocolate I have ever tasted! Luckily, the reindeer decided to stop trying to trick Santa and picked him up at the Layton stop. (Those silly reindeers!) We finally arrived back at the Ogden stop and completed our second Polar Express. Great times, great memories, great friends!

That doesn't surprise me either. How cute, Diana! You put Jenni and Diana together and you get an incredible team who accomplishes anything and everything. Miss you guys, too. Thanks for inviting Emily over last night. She had so much fun seeing all her friends.
