Lately, I have had the opportunity to ponder on a lot of choices, decisions, and directions that my life has taken. Plus, I have listened to the Relief Society General Session, Conference talks, and talks in our sacrament meeting yesterday. So many times, we make quick judgements about people. In the past,I have made the huge mistake of listening to gossip that is being said about other people and take it as truth. How sad that I had so many missed friendships and opportunities to get to know people because of other peoples quick judgements! A few years ago, I decided to change that attitude and I have been so pleasantly surprised at how my view of people in general has changed. (I am making the disclaimer that I REALLY have to work at this and I am not perfect in my way of thinking 100% of the time! Or even close to 100% but I am trying!) In Matthew 7:16 it states: "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" So my request to you is this.....Judge me on the fruits of my labors! I am trying to be a better person and do good things and bring forth good fruits. I hope that you will give me the benefit of the doubt in my actions and not judge me on the words of others...

It is so easy to make those snap judgement though. Definitely something I need to work on.
Jenni you are one of the most opened minded people I know, and rarelu judge anyone before you get to know them. That is one thing I have always been impressed with about you. Thanks for your good example to all of us
I am aweful at judging people as well and try extremely hard to get to know a person before I judge them. If it makes you feel better though, even if I did go off what others say, I've never heard anything bad about you, so I guess I would love you either way!
