A Post That I Promised...

On Saturday, I was talking with a bunch of girlfriends about blogging. I mentioned that James had a blog that at one point he started with the idea of it being a log for his running. My friends all wanted to know the name of this blog and where they could post comments to! So, in honor of my amazing and wonderful husband who has "inspired", no, "convinced", no manipulated so many others to start running...here's a quick photo collage just for you! His blog is http://runclydesdalerun.blogspot.com/ (Feel free to leave a post!)

James ran in a 5K back in 2007 and when he was done with that race, he hurried and ran back to run in a Kids K with Julie and Jackson! The kids loved it!

A portion of the Thundering Herd....The group "herd" around the neighborhood!

James & Tom after his first race, the Top of Utah Marathon! Notice the ice cream sandwich in his hand....I think he ate 7 of those before he felt up to going to the hotel to take a shower...

Julie and Jackson crossing the finish line with James at the Ogden Marathon in 2007. They were so excited to do this with their dad!!!

And it wouldn't be a runners collage without the "infamous" bloody nipple photo. He claims it didn't hurt until he got in the shower and then he screamed like a little girl :)

I can't close this blog without giving a special shout out to Tom. For all the times you have tortured, given James the "option" of doing races, made James think it would be easier than it really was, ran back to find out where James was, and cheered him on....thanks! You have given James a love he will forever be grateful for. Thanks for the memories Tommy!!!

James I absolutely love the bloody nipples photo. I never realized how HOT that looks! I think I will have to start that trend of bloody nipples. You have alot more of a passion for running then I do.

Yup. Janmes, you've completely manipulated/convinced me to participate in the Ogden Marathon. Lets sign up for the relay!

Great post! James definately influenced my love of running. I can't wait to run with him again. Now I just need to get James to run the wasatch 100 with me. So far I can't get anyone to sign up with me. I look forward to running with James again it has been since the summer of 05 that we ran together. I will find a great run up here, and see if you guys can come visit and get some running in while we are at it.
