Fun Stuff~

We have had some fun stuff happen in the last two weeks! First off, Julie got to go on a Grandpa McBride & Julie date to the pumpkin patch where she picked out pumpkins for her and Jackson. She had a blast and it was fun for her to spend time alone with Grandpa McBride. After that, Grandpa McBride came to Jacksons last soccer game where Jackson did a great job even though it was freezing!

On Monday, October 27th we had a FHE night with the Woolleys where we carved pumpkins. It was a lot of fun and the kids (James & Steve included) did a great job on their pumpkins.

Then it was time for Halloween! Julie went as Snow White, while Jackson was Buzz Lightyear. This year, we went to the fire station so Grandpa West could see the kids' costumes. Then it was back home and time for Trick or Treating where the kids got more candy than you can imagine. Jeffrey and I stayed home and read a book which was a lot warmer than everyone else. Grandma Nalder came to visit after they were finished and we had a great day!

Last Saturday, Steve & Tyler Woolley invited Jackson & James to go to the BYU football game. This was a first for Jackson. An almost right of passage if you will. He loved it and came home and talked about it for quite sometime.

Then on Monday night, Julie had her piano recital. She did such a great job playing "A Particularly Pleasing Piano Piece". We were so proud of her and it is fun to watch her little arms try to stretch the length of the piano. She can barely reach. She had a lot of support come to watch and see didn't let anyone down!

The biggest news is....WE SOLD OUR HOUSE! We have to be out by December 6th so this is an open invitation to anyone who feels like moving that day to come and join us. We did purchase the house we were originally looking at as well so it looks like things are going full steam ahead. The new house payment scares us to death but after a couple of years things will get back to "normal". We are really excited about this and there is so much potential in this home. More information on this will be forthcoming!

We love you all and hope you had a great Halloween. Hopefully, we will get to see all of our friends and family over the next two months with the holidays approaching. One more bit of good news, my cousin Chris and his wife Emily welcomed their first child, AnaLea on Halloween. I was able to hold her the day after she was born and she is going to be a joy to everyone around her. Congrats!
