My crazy husband ran with his friend, Tom in the Ogden Marathon on the 19th of May. James did a great job and was feeling really good when he looked down around mile 8 and noticed that his nipples were bleeding (remember, he did this marathon voluntarily). This is a common thing among marathon runners but James has never experienced it before. He said it didn't hurt too bad though. He lubed up some more and kept at it. Once again, he did amazing and we were all so proud of him. Mom, Jared, and Jim & Lisa came with the kids and I to cheer him on in the end and James took Julie and Jackson with him the last little bit and let them cross the finish line with him. Second marathon down, many more to go I am afraid......Thanks a lot Tom! :)
