Music Brings the Spirit

Saturday was filled with wonderful Christmas music and lots of laughter! We got ready and went shopping for more Christmas presents....(does it ever end!) Then Amy asked James to come and sing in her annual piano and voice recital. James really appreciated this because it gives him a chance to learn a new song, dust off the vocal chords, and help ease his nerves about performing in public. James had the very talented Kari Richardson accompany him while he sang "Joseph" from The Forgotten Carols. He did wonderful, as always. He is always so shocked when people come up to him afterwards and tell him how wonderful he is and thanks for inspiring them. I love James for that! He really is great! Then we stayed to listen to the Richardson girls play in their piano concert so we had a full 2 hours of Christmas music we had the pleasure of listening to, and it was great. That night, we went to dinner with some friends and it was so good to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season and just sit down and relax with good friends and LAUGH! Amy and her beautiful girls, Ashley (played the piano) and Emily (who played the piano and sang a wonderful Christmas song)
James and Amy goofing off after the concert! Farm Buddies!
