Graditude Entry #2

Of course it is late because I wouldn't do it any other way(this is James). Plus who want to share their feeling out there like this...I don't get it. Anyway as I just attended woodbadge training for scouts for 6 days I am grateful for the scouting program. Of course it has been on my mind alot lately because of this recent adventure with my co-horts in the Beaver Patrol and others at Gilwell Field. Sounds nerdy huh...but you just have to experience it to know. I think back to my time as a boy and all the great adventures and learning that occured in scouting. I had so much fun and didn't even realize it till now when I look back. It truly taught me those core tenants of scouting, and I am grateful for that. I have a deep gratitude for those men, including my dad who served as my scoutmaster, that guided me through those years. I only hope that I can give back to scouting what it has gave to me. I find myself thinking about the boys in my Varsity Team alot, and how awesome they really are. They are great young men and have been trained and taught well, and I am sure one day they will make awesome leaders. They make me proud.

Leave to it James to make you feel like sharing your feelings is a bad thing... :) I have to be honest and say I am thankful for the Scouting program as well. Helps turn a great guy into an even better man. It is also shaping Jackson into a great kid! Thanks BSA and Happy 100th Birthday!
