Since Easter fell on General Conference (greatest thing ever!), we were able to sit back and relax. It was so nice to sit and focus on Christ and the gospel for 4 hours in our pajamas. We all camped out on the couches in the front room and listened to the radio. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the talks so much. What a blessing to have your spiritual cup refilled by living apostles every 6 months! We live in a very special time to have this gift in our lives. After the afternoon session, we headed over to the McBride house to have Easter dinner. Much of the time was spent tormenting Fernanda, Jonny's finance, on Skype. The poor girl had to translate for over 4 hours while James and the other boys did Easter candy parades, acting out a death scene with a plastic knife, and answering the little kids many questions. But she handled it like a champ! We also celebrated Zoe & Zane's birthdays....those kids are getting too big!!! The next Sunday, Julie and Jackson each wore their new Easter clothes to church and looked adorable.

The kids look so cute. And I agree it was a very relaxing weekend and I too enjoyed conference. And I loved having the kids come by and give me a big hug. It made my day.
