This Thanksgiving we got to spend some time with my sisters and their families. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year with Court, Joe & Camri, my Mom and Scott, and my grandparents. It was a very calm dinner and everything turned out relatively well. I have to say, I am so thankful for my family and friends this year. I have had to humble myself and leaned on them for support, more than I ever have before. For the meals, visits, the rides, helping with Jeff, and complete friendship and love that we have received as a family, I don't know if I can convey how thankful I am for all of you. In my moments of darkest despair, there are two special friends who were there for me (you know who you are). Your friendship is what I am the most grateful for this holiday season.
If you know me, then you know that chances are, I will be shopping the sales on Black Friday. Crazy? YES! It all started a long long time ago with the McBride clan. Since driving from up south isn't as fun at 4am as you would think it would be, I now go with my sisters and mom. I swore to myself that I wouldn't go this year unless there was something I REALLY needed. Well, I ended up spending the night in front of Target with Courtney & Joe. Honestly, are the deals really worth it? I don't know, but the memories created seem to be worth the effort. We met up with Marcie, B, and my mom later on and then we always get everyone and go to breakfast.
That night we went to my Dads for our 2nd Thanksgiving (yes, I am the luckiest girl in the world). We even had Uncle Chad there this year! Miracles truly do happen people! While Camri ran around chasing the dogs and the kids chasing Camri, the adults talk and just enjoy each others company. It was a great evening. Thanks Dad & Kaye!
