It has been a frustrating and emotionally challenging month but we think we may have the answer to why Jeffrey's post surgery recovery hasn't been what we were expecting. We think he has a positional kink in his cathedar and makes it so when he is sitting in his chair he doesn't get the medicine he is supposed to. When he is laying down for a period of time, the tone in his legs feel great! It has been a lot of trial and error, research, help from a great staff at PCMC, and lots and lots of prayers. (A lot have been answered!) So, what this means is......time for another surgery. Since the last surgery didn't go nearly as well as the doctor would have liked (Jeff is a hard kid to operate on!) they are going to try taking a different route to fix the problem. Hopefully, things will go better this time. We are looking at the week of the 6th for surgery. We will keep you posted.
Thanks to EVERYONE for all your help with the kids, meals, friendship and love, and mostly prayers. We have felt an overcoming feeling of love in our family and we appreciate it.
Few other things to note:
*We are so excited with the results for you Squeks! Now go play with my cuddle buddy!
*We are so sorry for everyone who got vandalized in our neighborhood last week! People aren't nice sometimes!
*Thanks for the mini vacation last week Dad & Kaye......It was just what we needed!
*A huge thank you to everyone who supported me in my calling the past 3 years! I will miss "the girls" (as Julie and Jackson refer to them!) so much but it is time for me to focus on my family and get my house in order. Literally!

I hope all goes well with this surgery. I have enormous empathy for anyone that goes through surgery at all. Jeffrey is a truely an inspiration, especially with his many difficult surgeries, recoveries, and therapies. To face another surgery this soon after a previous must be challenging for everyone. Trust me when I say that surgery is harder on the family then the individual. It isn't fun for either but I feel it is harder watching a loved one go through surgery. He will definately be watched over. I am so glad I have been able to be a small part of Jeffrey's life and I definately miss him.
