Fall is here!

It seems like we have skipped a season here in Utah. I love the fall and I guess I won't get to experience that this year. But there are a lot of good things going on right now. James is busying working on his Grandmothers house to get it ready to be a rental. There is a lot of work to do, so James spent his entire goverment holiday working on the floor in the bathroom. He also put up a sheet of beadboard in the kitchen. I hadn't been in their house since Grandma passed away almost 3 years ago. It's amazing the feelings that happened just walking in that home. James and I spent so many hours there serving his grandparents and in turn, learning so much from them. It still amazes me that James spent everyday of his life for 9 years putting Grandma to bed. I have to say, I am married to an incredible guy. Hopefully, the house will be up and ready to rent soon.

Jeffrey had a rough day at school today. He came home so mad! I don't know what happened but usually I can get him to laugh and talk to me walking from the bus to our house after school. Not today! I rubbed him head like I normally do and said, Hey Jeff, and he mumbled and started groaning in anger. I don't know what happened but after being at home and playing with Julie and I for a half hour he was fine. I'll keep you posted on what made him so angry. Go figure!

Julie was practicing piano today and I am so impressed. She loves the fact that she can sit down and play any song in her Christmas book that Grandma McBride gave her. I guess it is because I never learned how to play myself but I am so proud of my 6 year old daughter for playing the way she does and enjoying it. People lately have been telling me that she is a little Mini-Jenni. In some ways I can see it. Tonight, I tucked her into bed and about a half hour later I went back upstairs and she was in bed reading.....Remind you of anyone?

Jackson is bummed because his last two soccer games have been cancelled because of the weather. It is so fun to watch him smile as he runs across the field chasing that ball. He loves playing on the same team as his good friend Jared (the star of the team) and loves running around with a bunch of boys. He is James in so many ways including his laid back manner. I hope he grows up just like his dad.

I know this is more like a journal entry but I wanted to write because it has been awhile. Nothing fun or exciting has happened but I wanted to keep everyone up to date on what is going on here! We love you all and hope to hear from you all soon!
