On Thursday night, we were able to go with Jonny as he took out his endowments at the Bountiful Temple. It was a night of firsts for not only Jonny but James and I as well. (Don't laugh Belinda & Beka!) It is always wonderful to go and enjoy the beautiful settings in the house of the Lord and leave the world at the doors. It was a night of peace that James & I both really needed.

On Friday, James & I went to a Elders Quorum Social at our Stake Center. We were excited to have Jonny, Jared, & Sara join us as we listened to a live band made up of members of our ward called The Righteous Brethren & Sister Jan. They were amazing!!!! 4 of the 5 members of the band are in or have been in "real" bands and they rocked....literally. They asked James and two other people in our ward to join them on some special numbers. I am looking into getting either video or photos of the songs James did. He sang Long Train Coming by the Doobie Brothers (?), Hysteria by Def Leopard, R-O-C-K in the USA by John Mellencamp, and Twist & Shout by the Beatles. I wish everyone could have seen him ... I was so proud and it was fun to see him try and shake his hips while singing. Jonny & Jared were really impressed with the high note that he hit during his Beatles song! It is great to see James get out of his comfort zone of singing hymns and spiritual songs at church and have to rock it! He might be hooked now is the problem. I had fun dancing with James (which doesn't happen often enough) and also dancing with Jonny & Jared. It was a lot of fun!

On Saturday, we had the chance to listen to Conference which is always uplifting. Who doesn't enjoy listening to the Prophet but wearing your pajamas? Then Julie and I spent 8 hours.....yes, 8 hours cleaning her room. It took FOREVER!!!!!! Hopefully, she learned her lesson and will keep her room half way decent, but then again, who am I to talk right. Right before bed, Julie let us pull out her second tooth. This time there wasn't nearly the drama of last time, but she did ask for Marcie to pull it out. So Marcie, you must have done something right last time. One of the conditions of letting us pull out her tooth was posting a picture on the website so enjoy and have a great Sunday.
